libcdio-paranoia1 software package provides library to read digital audio CDs with error correction, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio-paranoia1
libcdio-paranoia1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio-paranoia1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio-paranoia1 *
You will get with libcdio-paranoia1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
